PARTERSHIP WITH PARENTS

We encourage parents to take part in the life of the school. Many parents would give freely of their time and effort to assist in the school, and this will be continually encouraged. This parental involvement is regarded as a partnership between parents and teachers in the education of their children. Examples of involvement will include:-Meeting with the staff to monitor their child’s progress.Contributing their resources, skills and experiences where ever appropriate.Communicating concerns and advising the school management. The Parents’ Association known as “Friends of Bethel Livingstone Academy” (FBLA) will support the school in various areas and parents are encouraged to become involved in as many activities as they are able. The aims of FBLA are:-To support the aims of the school and to bring together parents, staff, family and friends. To encourage the bringing together of the talents of students, parents, staff and friends for our mutual encouragement
